Who We Are

At the beginning of the 20th century, Des Moines, Iowa, was starting to come alive. New business, bold architecture, increased trade and manufacturing, mobilized politics, genre-defying entertainment and conveniently located railroads were moving the city forward, awakening its residents from the old dream that Des Moines was nothing but a sleepy town.

The city’s slogan in those years was “Des Moines Does Things.” It deserved another run.

DMDT Hospitality was formed in 2016 with the focus to bring something different to Des Moines nightlife. We aim to bring new beginnings to forgotten spaces and join the party in already thriving neighborhoods. We pride ourselves on our attention to detail in design, service and quality. As we move forward, we have a commitment to our community to continue to push the concept envelope. At the end of the day, DMDT’s goal is to play a small part in making Des Moines a great place to live and visit.
